Day 4 Craigower: Mountain Challenge

The Mountain Challenge - the children were split into 2 groups, the first group went on a bus to the mountain where they were to spend the morning abseiling and climbing.  The second group trekked from the lodge for 3 hours through the heather and over the hill, both groups met for lunch and then they swapped activities.  The walk was nearly the end of a few of the children, it was very challenging, especially in the heat, we were all very amazed to see Mr Taylor make it the whole way back without assistance! The children were amazing and all managed the abseil and climb and overcame their fears.  We now all have very dodgy T-shirt tans and will sleep well tonight but first we must go and kick off our shoes and dance the night away at the ceilidh!
