Day 5 Homeward Bound

Day 5 started with room tidying and finishing packing!!! Help!!! We got there in the end! We finished with goodbyes and presentations. Daniel received a certificate for overcoming some fears and having "a give it a go" attitude. Well done Daniel. We then set off for Landmark with great excitement. Fun was had by all. The sky dive, Ropeworx, Flumes and the Pinnacle kept everyone busy. What a finish to a fantastic week with great children. Everyone should be proud!

Day 4 Craigower: Mountain Challenge

The Mountain Challenge - the children were split into 2 groups, the first group went on a bus to the mountain where they were to spend the morning abseiling and climbing.  The second group trekked from the lodge for 3 hours through the heather and over the hill, both groups met for lunch and then they swapped activities.  The walk was nearly the end of a few of the children, it was very challenging, especially in the heat, we were all very amazed to see Mr Taylor make it the whole way back without assistance! The children were amazing and all managed the abseil and climb and overcame their fears.  We now all have very dodgy T-shirt tans and will sleep well tonight but first we must go and kick off our shoes and dance the night away at the ceilidh! Miss Gordieee

Day 3 Craigower: A day at Utah lochans

We set off today to Utah lochan (close to Loch Insh) it was a lovely drive through Spruce and Larch trees. We split into two groups one for open boat canoeing and one for mountain biking. A great day was had by all. MOST stayed dry on the water and mountian biking took us to new heights in more ways than one as you will see in our snapshot galleries. The weather was fabulous and kids had a great time. Free evening tonight so a game of football is on the menu. Tomorrow we all face the Mountain Challenge! Watch this space for the photos. Please leave a comment if you can. Mr T

Day 2 Craigower: A day on the River Spey

Just back from the white water rafting, thankfully all present and correct but some what soggy! A great time had by all (possibly excluding Miss Gordon!)  We successfully paddled through the washing machine and managed to avoid being caught by all the fishermen.  The children loved sticking their heads, feet and everything they could into the freezing water and pulled out some impressive moves when using the rafts as a trampoline to jump into the river. Just about to eat dinner now to get our energy levels back up for the wild cat trail.
